PROGRAMME MANAGER ? DAY SERVICES

As part of Saint John of God Community Services Clg., Liffey Services
supports individuals with intellectual disabilities to be active
participants within the community that they live. Applications are
invited for the position of Programme Manager ? Day Services. The
successful candidate will be responsible for the management and
development of an innovative range of Person Centered Programmes that
enables each individual to reach their full potential in accordance
with the principles of the New Directions report.
This is a critical leadership position and offers potential candidates
a unique experience and an opportunity to work in a changing, dynamic
and exciting environment.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Relevant professional healthcare qualification i.e. Nursing
qualification, Occupational Therapy, Psychology, Social Care etc.
* Minimum of five years experience in a management position, with a
minimum of three years management experience in the Intellectual
Disability Sector.
* Clear understanding of, and commitment to, contemporary service
delivery approaches.
* Recognized health management qualification, preferably to
degree/diploma level is preferable
* In depth knowledge of all relevant and appropriate legislation,
regulation and publications in the area of intellectual disability.
* Good ICT knowledge and skills.
* Experience/knowledge of working in a change environment
preferable.
* Proven experience and understanding of developing Day programmes
in community settings.
